White River Hike

Headed up to the mountain for a long week of some spring break action.  The waterfalls were numerous at both white river and gate creek.

We had two days of beautiful sun shine, and then a little bit of rain the last day.

Work on Rampage 33

Rampage 33

Back in December I delivered this Rampage 33 down the coast to Garabaldi.  After delivering the owner decided to hire me to work on some projects getting the boat ready for tuna fishing in 2016.

Using a digital camera I was able to take a picture of the center steering console.  Then imported it into solidworks and designed a “jesus bar” as something one could hold on to while the boat travels 25 knots in seas.

As well the 6 man life raft had to be installed on the bow, and a new battery put in place on the starboard Volvo penta diesel.  The weekend my wife came down and we spent the evening on the boat.  We installed the jesus bar, life raft, and a new battery.

Comic Con

Walking the show

Charlie and I want to comic con.  Lots of dressed up characters and souvenirs were to be had.

There were also lots of gaming competitions going on including online video games and board games.

Lots of cameo pictures being taken as people would stop those in costumes to get a shot.

Scheduling the build of a new tug

Using Microsoft project I have created the 13 month long schedule to build this new tractor tug here at JT marine for a company out of San Francisco.

It has milestones with lead times for out-sourced parts.  As well as payment schedule and validation points with final sea trials.
